I just found this blog post; it's pretty interesting. I like seeing where certain artists get their inspiration and so on.

Herp Derp Game Post

music: Unheilig

Played the demo of El Shaddai the other day, and I'm not really sure what I think. It's hard to judge from just a limited bit to play, but it does intrigue me. The concept art is appealing, and the overall look of the game is pretty interesting (it looks like something Shin Megami Tensei but not quite). I had to go to their website to glean a little more info and I see that Jason Isaacs voices Lucifel. This is very good indeed. :B I think I'll have to rent it when it comes out.

I haven't played games in so long, I figured I'd give the Catherine demo a go as well. I've been on the fence about this game for a while, and even after playing some of it I'm not sure I'm gonna like it (the puzzle tower race strategy thing doesn't do it for me at all). But it IS nice to look at art-wise, and if it's horrific and weird I probably won't be able to avoid it for long...

Ugh. I feel like I've been missing out on a lot of horrible and great things since I left. :( Must lurk.
